2012 was the second year that myself and my girlfriend have had Season Passes to HersheyPark in Hershey, PA. Due to various reasons it was also the FIRST time we’ve been able to attend their “Christmas Candylane” event. We’ve now attended all Seasonal events including “Christmas Candylane,” “HersheyPark In The Dark,” and “Springtime In The Park.” Here are some of my favorite photographs from the journey! ENJOY!
Love these vintage pennants! So far only have Hershey, PA & Miami Beach, FL, but hoping to score a few more. We only want the ones from certain places which we have traveled to, enjoy, are our favorite, etc… A few of the next ones we are looking into getting are Outer Banks, North Carolina & Rehoboth Beach, Delaware…. keep me in mind if you see them! :)
As some of you may or may not know, during this off-season HersheyPark in Hershey, PA is in the process of building their newest, and 12th rollercoaster, SkyRush. This was a recent shot taken by Chris Cronrath and posted onto HersheyPark’s “Project 2012″ Facebook page. I thought it was SUPER COOL as it shows 4 of HersheyPark’s rollercoasters, including SkyRush which is still in progress… Enjoy!

HersheyPark (one of my favorite places to go, period) is announcing its 2012 attraction(s) today at 12:12 PM EST! It’s highly-rumored to be an Intamin Roller Coaster possibly named “SkyRush.” It will be interesting to see the details and get more information! They’ve been running a very unique viral marketing campaign on their Facebook page over the last month or two. Check it out for the last minute details and to watch the announcement LIVE!

I am still kind of upset that I missed “Christmas Candylane” this year, but there is always next year, right? Anyway, this was my first year attending this event, and I had a blast! We actually hit every other seasonal event this year EXCEPT “Christmas Candylane.” LOVE HersheyPark!
This shot was uploaded on August 8th, 2010, and was taken on the 7th. That day me and Brandi took both of our Mother & Sister’s to HersheyPark. It was an awesome day, we had a great time, and this is one of my favorite shots from that day. I really like how I captured the sprinkler, the people having fun in the lazy river itself, and the lifeguards “in action,” or, maybe flirting a little bit. Regardless, one of my favorites!
This photograph was uploaded on May 31, 2010 and was taken during Opening Weekend of The Boardwalk at HersheyPark. It shows the Lazy River/Intercoastal Waterway in full force! As I mentioned, we have Season Passes. I can’t wait for The Boardwalk’s Opening Weekend of 2011!
This shot was uploaded on April 11th, 2010 and shows HersheyPark in the background, shot from inside Hershey Gardens in Hershey, Pennsylvania! This was a trip we took this year for “Springtime In The Park,” and let me tell you, I can’t wait to go back! I absolutely LOVE the town of Hershey and would love to possibly someday live there. I wanted to go back to Hershey Gardens in the middle of this Summer to view them during full bloom, but that didn’t happen. Maybe 2011 will be the year for that!
I uploaded this shot on May 29th, 2009. It’s the lazy river in HersheyPark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Since this photograph I’ve been in the lazy river many, many times, and took MANY shots, but this was the first. This was actually opening weekend, and it was an extremely rainy weekend. Myself and my girlfriend Brandi were actually some of the very first people, besides park employees/private parties, etc…, in the lazy river.
We now have Season Passes but this was our first trip together as a couple, and we bought tickets for three consecutive days. We never even got a chance to get into The Boardwalk (their waterpark) until our third day there due to rain. Despite the weather this will always be one of my favorite, most memorable trips!
The “2011 OUP Photography Tour” will be previewed THIS weekend as it heads to Hershey, Pennsylvania on Saturday and hits “HersheyPark In The Dark,” as well as Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and a few other stops!

Here in a few hours myself, my girlfriend, and both of our Mother & Sister’s will be heading to Hershey, Pennsylvania! It’s the last date in the 2010 OUP Photography Tour, but don’t worry, there are some HUGE things planned for the 2011 OUP Photography Tour, which will be announced next Saturday, August 14th! The end-of-2010 OUP Photography Tour “secret project” will be unveiled that day as well!
