Hello everyone!!! Hope you are having a great day so far, whatever time it happens to be where you are at right now while reading this. I slept in today, which doesn’t happen often, but was well worth it as we just purchased a brand new bed this past week, and boy is it comfortable! It’s amazing how having a good quality bed can completely change how you sleep, how your body feels, and how overall productive you are in life. Just a few days and I’m starting to feel completely different!
Now to the matter at hand… Cinco De Mayo! Me and my girlfriend are big fans of this Holiday, which is TODAY if you aren’t aware, and is the “Fifth of May,” again, if you are living under a rock. Yesterday I purchased some ingredients to make tacos this evening, and also got some tequila to make some mixed drinks. Going to be a fun evening! First things first, I have some packages to wrap for shipment tomorrow for my retail business. Always fun! Besides the sarcasm, always a great thing to see money COMING IN in business, NOT just going out, so I’ll take the work any day!
I hope you are able to enjoy some tacos or tequila yourself today, or perhaps some burritos, nachos, whatever the case!
One last time, HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO, and ENJOY YOUR DAY!
Hello everyone, and hope you are having a great Easter day!!! Right now I’m just sitting in the office enjoying a cup of coffee, getting ready to start my Easter dinner in a bit. We’re doing things a bit differently, as we usually do with Holidays, and being “sort of” traditional while also changing things up a bit. We’re having ham and traditional sides, but also making some marinated steak. Should be delicious!
At some point today I have some packages that I can hopefully get wrapped for shipment tomorrow, some paperwork to accomplish, you name it. The hustle never truly ends!
Nonetheless, enjoy your day, and I’ll check back in with you all tomorrow!
I am writing this post in advance to post early Valentine’s Day morning, so, as you are reading this, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! Kind of odd to say that when it’s actually not the case yet, anyway…
I’ll be spending the day today with my girlfriend. Plan on taking her shopping a bit, get something good for lunch and dinner, and just have fun. My plan is to take my HD camera as well, and get some footage of whatever all we end up doing. You just never know!
To get you guys ready to enjoy your Valentine’s Day I figured I would leave you with a few funny/interesting/inspiring/awesome images to get you in the spirit… enjoy!
It’s that time of the year. Yes, pumpkins, pumpkin pie & lattes, pumpkin donuts, apple cider donuts, pigging out at Thanksgiving dinner, carving a pumpkin, you name it. Let’s not forget eggnog! For me it’s eggnog and Jack Daniels or Southern Comfort! Both Halloween and Thanksgiving are right around the corner, and I hope you are all enjoying the experiences!
I need to get out hopefully this weekend and get a pumpkin, and hopefully attend HersheyPark In The Dark in Hershey, PA. I was supposed to last weekend, but my girlfriend has been having some problems with her leg. Nonetheless, we’ll attempt to give this another shot on Sunday!
Sorry that I havn’t been around here on BrentOtt.com too much recently, besides running the retail end of my business, I’ve been busy on Mondays & Tuesdays over on YouTube putting out “Trash Talk & Treasures” episodes. If you’re not aware of it, check it out! On Monday we are LIVE from 7:30 PM EST until 9:30 PM EST with two seperate shows, with the one beginning at 8:30 PM EST being more themed for mature audiences.
On Tuesdays we are LIVE beginning at 7:30 PM EST as well, and go for one hour, with a different format each week. You can check it all out below:
Besides “Trash Talk,” which is honestly my favorite two days of the week at this point, and my retail businesses I’ve been busy working on a few secret projects that will be coming out shortly, at various points both before the end of the year and in 2013. I thank you all for reading this Blog, and I’ll be back with some inspiring/motivating/AWESOME content soon!
In keeping with BrentOtt.com’s new-found tradition of celebrating lesser-known and odd Holidays, today, September 5th, is BOTH Be Late for Something Day and Cheese Pizza Day!!!! What better way to be late for work, or school, than to eat some delicious Cheese Pizza?!?! ENJOY!!!!! PASS IT ON! :)
“Ask each hiker or camper to bring a box or bag of their favorite cereal, nuts, pretzels, raisins, dried fruit, M&Ms, etc. For younger hikers or new members of the group, it’s best to provide them with a list of the types of food that can go into trail mix. That way, the inexperienced hiker won’t bring something that can not be easily carried. At the campout or before the hike, bring the group together and mix all the food in a big, big bowl. Put the mix into sealable baggies and pass them out to each hiker.
Tips: When making your own trail mix, avoid messy items that leave your hands sticky. Also avoid too many salty items. For example, unsalted nuts is better than salted ones.”
I will be stuck working my “night hustle” at Papa John’s Pizza all weekend, but I wish everyone a GREAT Halloween Weekend! Looking forward to next year when I won’t be working there on a regular basis so I can enjoy my Halloween Weekend…. Have fun!
